Project Overview
This project focuses on improving how AI understands visual concepts, not just object names. Instead of only labeling what an object is, contributors verify whether specific visual statements about an image are true or false. This helps AI learn how objects appear in different contexts, conditions, and viewpoints, making image recognition more reliable in real-world scenarios. No prior experience in AI or image annotation is required. Clear instructions, examples, and practice tasks are provided.
What You Will Do
- Review a single image
- Read 3–5 short visual statements related to the image
- Mark each statement as True, False, or Unclear
Example statements:
- The image contains a musical instrument
- The object is being held by a person
- The object appears to be made of wood
- The object is indoors
Contributors are not asked to guess. If something is unclear, they select “Unclear.”
Requirements
- Ability to carefully observe images
- Strong attention to visual detail
- Ability to follow written guidelines
- Valid certification from AIDRALabs
- Reliable internet connection and access to a computer, smartphone, tablet, or laptop
