At SynapseMind, we support the development of AI systems that are useful, reliable, and responsible.
Our content review projects bring human judgment into the process of helping AI systems respond appropriately to different types of information and user requests.
Project Overview
AI systems encounter a wide range of content, including sensitive discussions, offensive language, potentially harmful instructions, and material that requires careful contextual interpretation.
This project involves reviewing text against clearly defined content policies.
Contributors must determine whether a piece of content complies with the applicable guidelines, requires a restricted classification, or should be escalated for further review.
Context matters. A sentence discussing harmful behavior in an educational setting, for example, may need to be treated differently from a sentence encouraging that behavior.
What You Will Do
- Review text and AI-generated responses.
- Classify content using project-specific policy categories.
- Identify potentially harmful or policy-violating material.
- Distinguish educational, analytical, and critical discussions from content that violates the applicable rules.
- Document decisions using predefined labels.
- Escalate ambiguous cases when required.
Example task
You receive three short passages discussing an online safety incident.
One describes what happened, another criticizes the behavior, and the third encourages similar behavior.
You classify each passage according to the supplied policy rather than treating every mention of the incident identically.
Requirements
- Strong reading comprehension and contextual judgment.
- Ability to interpret written policies consistently.
- Attention to detail.
- Professional judgment when reviewing sensitive material.
- Ability to explain classification decisions clearly.
- An AI certificate from Walden University or AIDRAlabs.
- Reliable internet access and a suitable device.
Why This Project Matters
AI systems must respond appropriately to a wide range of user interactions.
Careful content review helps development teams identify policy violations, reduce inappropriate outputs, and improve the consistency of automated safety systems.
