At SynapseMind, we believe human feedback plays an important role in building more helpful AI systems.
We work with contributors who can compare alternative AI responses and identify which answers better satisfy a user’s needs.
Project Overview
AI models can produce several possible answers to the same question.
Although these answers may all appear reasonable, they can differ considerably in accuracy, clarity, relevance, completeness, and adherence to instructions.
This project focuses on comparing alternative responses and providing structured feedback that helps AI systems produce better answers.
Contributors will use predefined evaluation criteria to rank responses and explain the reasoning behind their choices.
The emphasis is on consistent judgment, not personal preference.
What You Will Do
- Review prompts and multiple AI-generated responses.
- Rank responses according to predefined quality criteria.
- Identify which answer best follows the user’s instructions.
- Evaluate clarity, relevance, accuracy, and completeness.
- Identify weaknesses in otherwise convincing answers.
- Provide concise explanations supporting your rankings.
Example task
A user asks an AI assistant to write a professional email declining a meeting invitation.
You receive three alternative responses.
One is too informal, another is unnecessarily long, and the third communicates the decision clearly while maintaining a professional tone.
You rank the responses according to the task criteria and explain your selection.
Requirements
- Strong written English comprehension.
- Ability to compare similar pieces of text objectively.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Sound judgment when evaluating competing answers.
- Ability to explain decisions using clear reasoning.
- An AI certificate from Walden University or AIDRAlabs.
- Reliable internet access and a suitable device.
Why This Project Matters
Human preference data can help AI developers understand which responses people find more useful, accurate, and appropriate.
Consistent comparisons and well-supported feedback help improve the quality of model responses over time.
