At SynapseMind, innovation meets opportunity. We harness collective human intelligence to responsibly shape the future of AI.
What We Do
SynapseMind connects skilled professionals with impactful AI projects led by leading technology companies. Our mission is to advance Generative AI by integrating real-world expertise from a diverse, global community.
Project Overview
This project helps AI systems learn how to recognize attributes of objects and scenes, not just their presence. Contributors review images and validate specific visual attributes such as color, condition, orientation, and environment. This improves an AI’s ability to describe images accurately, distinguish similar objects, and make reliable inferences in real-world settings like accessibility tools, search, and visual assistants. No prior AI or image annotation experience is required. Structured guidance and examples are provided.
What You Will Do
- View a single image
- Review a list of attributes related to the main object or scene
- Select the most accurate option for each attribute
Example attributes:
- Primary color of the object
- Approximate size (small, medium, large)
- Object orientation (upright, sideways, tilted)
- Environment (indoor, outdoor, mixed)
- Condition (new, used, damaged, unclear)
Contributors are encouraged to choose “Unclear” when the image does not provide enough information.
Requirements
- Careful visual observation skills
- Ability to follow structured instructions
- Valid certification from AIDRALabs
- Attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable internet connection and access to a computer, smartphone, tablet, or laptop
No prior image labeling experience required
Training examples are provided before live tasks
Why This Project Matters
Attribute-level understanding allows AI systems to move beyond simple object detection. Your work helps models describe images more precisely, distinguish similar visuals, and avoid incorrect assumptions, improving trust and usability across many applications.
